I did exactly that and found this little gem and decided to give it a go. It&#8217;s so easy, doesn&#8217;t require any sewing and takes around 15 minutes! So grab yourself an old t-shirt and turn it in to a gorgeous looking scarf in a flash.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bbprdv2.bellabuy.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/tshirt-scarf.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-351\" title=\"tshirt-scarf\" src=\"http:\/\/bbprdv2.bellabuy.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/tshirt-scarf.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bellabuy.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/tshirt-scarf.jpg 500w, https:\/\/bellabuy.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/tshirt-scarf-272x300.jpg 272w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>What you need<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Old t-shirt<\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>That&#8217;s it, seriously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Steps<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Cut the bottom hem off the shirt<\/li>\n<li>Cut horizontal strips around 1-2cm in width &#8211; continue until you reach under the armpits<\/li>\n<li>Stretch out the strips so that the edges curl around themselves<\/li>\n<li>Twist and double over the strips so that the seams meet up and 2 circles are formed<\/li>\n<li>Save one strip and cut the seam so you have one long piece<\/li>\n<li>Put all the twisted pieces together, seams at the top<\/li>\n<li>Wrap your long piece around the top section where the seams are, and tie to finish off<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Do you have any great re-cycling projects you&#8217;d like to share?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bbprdv2.bellabuy.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/signoff-j.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-241\" title=\"signoff-j\" src=\"http:\/\/bbprdv2.bellabuy.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/signoff-j.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"116\" height=\"49\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you google &#8220;re-cycle an old t-shirt&#8221; you&#8217;ll find a million different ways to turn an old t-shirt into something useful.
