DIY Leopard Print Manicure
Lately I’ve been stuck in a little bit of a nail polish rut. When I spied a leopard print manicure (on Pinterest of course!) I thought I’d give it a go. This was a first attempt, and if you’re a novice like me it’s really not too hard to master.
I love this look for a few reasons. Firstly, it’s leopard print. What’s not to love about that? Secondly, it lasts for around a week – much longer than a normal block colour because of the light base coat. And last, but certainly not least, if it chips you really can’t tell at all.
What you need
- Light Base Coat
- 2 Darker Shades, I went with pink and a dark brown
- Top Coat
- And 20 minutes of your precious time!
Steps
- Paint the entire nail a light base colour and let dry
- Use your secondary colour and place circular dot shapes around the nail – they should be different sizes and shapes, let dry
- With your darker colour trace the outside of your dot shapes leaving some spaces, along with some random dots
- Finish with a couple of top coats. That’s it. Now admire your lovely nails!
